Cole Beckstead – Dunedin’s new General Manager

Beckstead, originally from Canada, brings a wealth of experience in sports management and a deep understanding of the game. A player in the Phoenix Thunder, this dynamic forward made his mark in the NZIHL in his debut year (2024) finishing the season ranked the 4th top player with 31 points, he also received NZIHL Awards for Best Forward and Most Assisted Goals. His professional background, coupled with his dedication to fostering community engagement, positions him as the ideal leader to guide the Dunedin Ice Hockey Club into its next chapter.
